Recipe of the Week: Sabudana Kheer 🌟


Indulge in the rich and creamy delight of Sabudana Kheer, a perfect treat for your taste buds!


#### Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup Sabudana (tapioca pearls)

- 1 liter Milk

- 1/2 cup Sugar (adjust to taste)

- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder

- 2 tbsp Cashews (chopped)

- 2 tbsp Almonds (chopped)

- 2 tbsp Raisins

- A pinch of Saffron strands (optional)

- 1 tbsp Ghee (clarified butter)


#### Instructions:

1. **Soak Sabudana**: Rinse and soak the sabudana in water for about 2-3 hours or until they soften.

2. **Boil Milk**: In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer.

3. **Cook Sabudana**: Drain the soaked sabudana and add them to the simmering milk. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously until the sabudana turns translucent.

4. **Add Sweetness**: Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and let it cook for another 5-7 minutes until the kheer thickens.

5. **Garnish**: In a small pan, heat ghee and fry the cashews, almonds, and raisins until golden. Add them to the kheer along with saffron strands.

6. **Serve**: Serve the Sabudana Kheer warm or chilled, as per your preference.
